PHOTOS: Thousands of Lakewood residents on Thursday enjoyed the unique and all-free Rich Roberts Chol Ha’moed event at Pine Park.
This year’s event featured the BMX “Big Air” Bicycle Stunt Show – which accommodated thousands, a magician, cotton candy machines, 36 rider capacity electric spinner ride, pirate ship, train, inflated rock climbing, obstacle course, moon bounce, fun slide, petting zoo, juggler, and rides on military/police vehicles.
The objective of the event, as Dr. Roberts explained, is “to provide a kosher and sweet Chol Hamoed event for children while helping to relieve some of the financial burden on Frum families.”
And from the feedback, it’s quite evident Dr. Roberts has again outdone himself in defining a true community activist, whose only objective is to serve his community – without seeking anything in return.
“While I don’t know Rich Roberts personally, I am in awe of his tzedaka and chesed,” said one attendee. “That he even came up with this idea demonstrates what a special person he is.”
“Thank you Dr. Roberts for providing myself and my children a frum affordable environment for me to enjoy with my wife and children,” says another. “May Hk”bh grant you and your family Kol tuv and may you continue to contribute in the ways that you do for generations to come. God bless you.”

A special thank you to all the police men and chavairim members who helped out. A Bazundereh shkoach to Y. Stern from Chavairim who went above and beyond to ensure a smooth running program. Yanky you are truly amazing! You’re mamish a gevaldik’eh mentch!
Thanx Dr Roberts. Carnival was great. Kids really enjoyed.
I want to once again take this opportunity to thank Dr. Roberts for this enormous chesed. (Perhaps someone mathematical can calculate the amount of money Lakewood as a whole is saved each Chol Hamoed by his generosity.)
May he and his family be blessed with mazal, hatlacha, nachas, and bracha in everything.
A very grateful mother and grandmother
