PHOTO: Police this evening are investigating a stabbing on Ocean Avenue – the third reported stabbing in two days in Lakewood.

At about 10:45 p.m., Police and emergency personal were summoned to the area of Ocean Avenue and Clover Street for the reports of two bloodied people laying on the ground.

A preliminary investigation upon arrival indicated that one of the victims was stabbed in the area of the tracks. The other victim was reportedly with the stabbing victim and was also injured during the incident, though details are still sketchy.

Both victims were transported to Kimball Medical Center.
