  1. my son is 15 and not behaving in yeshiva. my husband is a very angry person. what can i do for my kids? especially my 15 year old

  2. First of all THANK YOU for your show. Just some background- I come from a childhood of physical and verbal abuse. BH it has made me a stronger person and I am happily married with children. My question is, when my father (the abuser) comes to visit, or says something on the phone (I live very far from him) sometimes can trigger something inside me and it makes me physically sick. I become an emotional wreck and it really effects my abilities as a wife and mother. This does not happen often but when it does it takes a great toll on me. (and my family) Any advise to protect myself? thank you.

  3. Shevy I had the same problem (though with my mother). I asked a sheileh and was given permission to discontinue contact until I felt it was safe to resume. That was almost 3 years ago and I feel like a different person…I do not have the same PTSD reactions since the abuser is no longer in my life. This may seem like a drastic and dramatic solution, but it works for me and has saved my children from the same heartache since she was becoming emotionally abusive to them. Hotzlocha in finding whatever helps you to heal.

  4. I have had ocd for about fourteen years. Lately the ocd focuses on halacha. I have seen a therapist and she says that I need to be willing to get aveiros in order to get better. I find this very hard; on one hand I want to rid the ocd desperately. However, I am terrified of getting aveiros. do you have any advice for me. thank you!
