lpd cuffs tls picThe two women accused of stealing wigs from a local shop turned themselves in after realizing their photos were all over the Internet.

Dsgt. Greg Staffordsmith says after releasing the photos of the women, police received several calls identifying the parties.

Then, while trying to obtain additional information regarding the suspects and their home addresses, one of the females turned herself in.

“Eighteen year old Jakiera Randolph of Jackson told Officer Lynn Miller that she was aware that her photo was on Facebook, so she turned herself in,” Staffordsmith says. “Randolph was charged with the Shoplifting and later released.”

A short time later the second suspect, 19 year old Kadija Diawara of Toms River, also turned herself in after discovering her photo circulating on social media. She was also charged with Shoplifting and later released. [TLS]
