Chesed of Lakewood: Mi K’amcha Yisroel

aaron soferFrom Chesed of Lakewood: On this Erev Shabbos, as we are still numb from the besurah of the petirah of HaBochur Aharon ben Moshe Tzvi HaLevi Sofer z’l, Chesed of Lakewood would like to publicly thank Klal Yisroel for the incredible Kiddush Hashem and chizuk that we were zocheh to be part of during this very difficult week. The thousands of callers to the Chesed of Lakewood hotline who opened their hearts with concern and tefillah as well as tremendous support for the search efforts were an unbelievable testimony to the tremendous levels of our community’s rachmanus and chesed.

It will be a great source of comfort to the family to know that Klal Yisrael continues to be with them in their tzaar.

As such, we would like to spread a special request from the Sofer family, as mentioned at the levaya, that men learn before Hadlakas neiros this erev Shabbos and women bring Shabbos in 15 minutes early this week.

A memorial fund was established l’iluei nishmas Aharon Sofer z”l as a zechus and aliya for his neshama and can be accessed at the following link www.aharonsofermemorial.com or by calling 732 901 0482 ext 5
