PHOTO: In light of widespread terrorism and recent anti-Semitic events taking place around the world, as well as the recent disappearance of a local resident overseas, local officials today had the opportunity to meet with SAC Aaron Ford from the Newark Division of the FBI offices.

During the meeting, which took place in the Mayor’s office, SAC Ford spoke about the missing Lakewood Bachur Aaron Sofer, as well as Ford’s vision of homeland security, safety and terrorist target hardening for our area, among other security items.

The meeting was attended by the Mayor, Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein, long-time Askan Reb Yisroel Schenkolewski, Chaplain Rabbi Abe Friedman and Police Captain Tommy Langenberger.
