Missionary Attempts to Make Heimishe Bake Shoppe UnHeimish

2PHOTO: An Ohio Missionary apparently thought he’d turn the Heimishe Bake Shoppe into an Unheimishe one, by sending a missionary letter to the shop.

The letter delivered this week is one of many recently delivered to homes in Lakewood by different missionary groups, some who have been hand-delivering pamphlets and CDs.

  1. So, you throw it away and carry on with your life. Why is this news? Why does everyone get so worked up when they are in the neighborhood? I am worried more about the fact that it works people up than the fact that someone may “convert”.

  2. #4- I think there is a better chance with the challos – not sure about the water challos, but the heimishe challos for sure we will have this guy become one of us. We got to tell the guy like it is; that he can’t have the cake and eat it (no pun intended) either he is heimish or he is not….
