PHOTO: The Shelli’s Cafe in Chateau Plaza was burglarized overnight, and had thousands of dollars in cash stolen, the owners say.
The perpetrator, or perpetrators, reportedly forced their way into a rear door at about 3:30 a.m., and destroyed all three cash registers and made off with thousands of dollars in cash, the owners said.
CSI is investigating the incident.

My father owns a grocery and always always leaves a small amount of cash with the register open. This way, in case of a break-in, the registers aren’t destroyed and the thieves don’t make off with much. Experience has proven this true.
