  1. What is this world coming too? I drive 3 miles out of my way to avoid Lakewood. I would do the same for other cities too. Newark etc. What is with all the Thug mentality????? I am so glad I live in what people call the sticks. But I hear they are coming to our area soon. No regard for human life. No respect for others. I am so sorry that our world has come to this. No one gets along any more. It is either skin color or Religion that is the excuse. OR GREED.!

  2. in regards to old lady comment–Lakewood is a fine town–we have lived here for 44 years–sure it has grown and it is a little congested but to compare it to newark is ridiculous–every town and city has its problems and people who badmouth are one of the problems–you talk of respect yet where is the respect in talking down about a town or city–as far as i’m concerned you are one of the problems and i’m happy to hear you avoid coming through Lakewood and the people of Newark probably feel the same
