From CHEMED: CHEMED is expanding its Motzei Shabbos hours for their Pediatric Department as well as their Internal Medicine Department. No longer do you have to wait till the next business day to see a physician if you aren’t feeling well.
At CHEMED you can be seen, diagnosed and if needed prescribed a prescription which can be picked up conveniently in the CHEMED Pharmacy, which is also open on Motzei Shabbos.
Even if you are not a CHEMED patient you can come in and be seen. To schedule an appointment please call 732-364-6666.
Does nayone know if chemed has a discounted price for a child’s sick visit. Basiclly we had a whole mess up and my child has no insurance for the next month. So every dr’s visit is at least $75. If a throat cultre is required its another $25. My dr is a nice guy but says too many people take advantage if he starts scalling his fees so he can’t do anything. I know chemed use to have (perhaps still has) a scaled fee for dentistry. Do they do the same for pediatrics?
CHEMED has a sliding fee discount program for all departments including pediatrics. if qualified, you will only be charged $20 for the entire visit.
Chemed keeps getting better… waits are down, caregivers are attentive and the overall quality of service has improved dramatically in the past few months..
