Child Hospitalized after being Bitten by Dog

rottA child was hospitalized this afternoon after being bitten by a dog, sources tell TLS.

The 11 year-old girl was was reportedly playing outside her home when her neighbor’s Rottweiler got loose and bit the child in the back.

Hatzolah and police responded, and the child was transported to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus for treatment. Injuries were non life-threatening.

  2. please dont say because of what type of dog it was dont stereotype rotties most are child and people loving dogs, as someone who has owned a rottie for 10 years and has never had a problem with my girl

  3. Protect your dogs as you would your children and these things would not happen. Educate your children on what to do if a dog runs toward them. Never Run, This makes you prey. Never make eye contact. Stand sideways. Say NO ! Never ever ever RUN.

  4. Ron, I must say you’ve completely misunderstood number 2’s point. The news TLS broadcasts is so pathetic, this story is actually used in a quote as an example of an everyday story that doesn’t make the news.

    Another point: the family probably would rather TLS not broadcast the story at all.
