UPDATED: NASA Shuttle Launch Rescheduled for Tonight; Flight Path & Timing

shuttle pathThe NASA shuttle launch that was postponed last night due a boat in the water, has been rescheduled for this evening.

 

The shuttle is expected to launch at 6:22 p.m., and is expected to be visible over New Jersey a couple of minutes after its launch.

  1. Take off? It is called “lift off.” Or as we kids used to call it during the Apollo program, “blast off.” But nobody calls a launch “take off.”
