UPDATED: Petirah of Reb Yosef Halperin Z”L

halperinWe regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Yosef Hal‎perin Z”L, who was Niftar this morning following a lengthy illness.

 

Reb Yossi Z”L lived in Boro Park for many years but moved to Lakewood ‎several years ago to be with his children after being struck with illness.

He was approximately 60 years old.

The Levaya will be taking place at 11 a.m. at Bais Medrash Kol Aryeh, on Hope Chapel Road. He will then be taken to Eretz Yisroel for Kevurah in Bnei Brak.

The Aron will be flown out from JFK, Elal Cargo B, building 23 at 3:30 p.m.

  2. What a loss ,reb yussi was an exceptional human being leaving behind a chashuva wife and very special children.many lessons can be learnt from them especially their zeherus in mitzvis kibud av veim.may yussi be a meilitz yosher for us all

  3. I am very sad to learn that R yosef was nifter. I have got to know him and and his beautiful family many years ago.R’yosef came from a very respectable family from bnei brak. A family who was know for their great hachnasas orchaim and tzedakah. R’yosef continued that beautiful legacy by being a bal tzedakah and always opening the door to others.Even when R’yosef became sick he still always had a smile and always ask abt the other person never ever feeling sad or sorry for himself.
    I will truly miss R’yosef smile . May R’yosef be a meilitz yosher for his family and us.all

  4. Boruch Dayan Emes. A wonderful family, a special man,full of simchas hachaim. We can all learn from R’ Yossi and his wife, and children. Never complaining, always with a smile.
    May he be a malitz yoshor, for his entire family, and the whole Lakewood commuinty, which he loved so much.
