PHOTOS: PBA Local 71 Members, Interact Club Deliver Thanksgiving Meals to the Needy

pba thanksgiving distributionLakewood Police Officers from the PBA Local 71 on Monday drove around town delivering turkey and other Thanksgiving meals to needy families.

After packing up the PBA bus with donated turkey, bread, donuts and other foods, the officers stopped at the Lakewood High School to pick up volunteers from the Interact Club to help deliver the packages. The Interact Club, who assists the PBA in community outreach events throughout the year, is directed by Ms. Brianna Kelusak, daughter of State PBA Delegate and Police Officer Steve Kelusak.

The group spent about three hours on the road making their way from home to home, ensuring some of the less-fortunate local families got to enjoy their Thanksgiving dinner this year.

  1. Article posted at 1:24. Its 6:15. Funny when the Police do something above and beyond for ALL of the community there’s not one comment. Just sayin’.

  2. Ron, funny when you have people that try to find the bad in everything. The fact that its nice that the article was posted here is nothing. Some people have a one track mind. Just sayin’
