Brick PD Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Man Who Used $1,300 in Fake Bills to Pay for Merchandise

VerizonCounterfeitThe Brick Township Police Department is looking for the public’s help to attempt to identify a subject who passed counterfeit one hundred dollar bills at the Verizon Store located at 481 Route 70, Brick, NJ.

On December 8th, a subject entered the Verizon Store where he purchased several electronic devices for a total of approximately $1,300.00. The subject paid with one hundred dollar bills that when checked were found to be counterfeit.

The Brick Township Police Department was able to obtain pictures from the store’s surveillance system. If you believe that you may recognize the subject in these pictures, you are asked to please contact Detective Gregory Mullarkey in the Brick Township Police Detective Bureau at 732-262-1122.
