PHOTO: In light of the negativity surrounding police forces throughout the country, a local Rabbi was determined to show support and appreciation of Lakewood’s police officers.
In a show of solidarity and support, Rabbi Lefkowitz, Rav of Kollel Bnei Torah, and his family, brought homemade treats to the Lakewood Police Department.
“The officers were visibly moved by this gesture as it was refreshing to see community leaders come out to support them,” a bystander in headquarters at the time told TLS.
What an amazing gesture.

The point isnt to feed the police department, its about expressing gratitude. I’m sure those officer who didn’t get a cupcake will find the nearest dunkin donuts and get their daily fix.
