Lakewood Police were called multiple times over the past few days in regards to children walking or playing on the frozen Lake Carasaljo.

Police have advised that the only fishermen (pictured yesterday) or others with proper permits are permitted on the lake.

Children who wish to walk or play on the ice can use the safety pond, located just south of the lake on River Avenue at South Lake Drive.
