VIDEO & PHOTOS: The ‘Pothole Killers’ are in Lakewood

pothole killer truckAs earlier reported, an outside company has been brought into Lakewood to semi-permanently fill the hundreds of potholes around town.

The ‘pothole killer’ machine, reportedly the same machinery utilized by the state during the winter, will fill the holes without getting out of the truck, and with material intended to last.

The company says that unlike cold-patches, these repairs are expected to last approximately 44-48 months, and have a very small failure rate.

2Also as reported, should the repairs prove successful, the township intends to lease these trucks for future projects, the Mayor announced last week.

  1. I am originally from Brooklyn and every few years they scrape the streets and repave them. It’s standard protocol. When pavement gets old it needs to be replaced. It’s not rocket science.
