Ron Peszar, a code inspector for the Lakewood Inspection Department, was honored by the Township after being selected by the State as the 2015 Fire Proetction Inspector of the year.
Peszar, who has worled for the Lakewood Inspection Department for about two years, was joined by his family as he received a plaque from the Mayor on Thursday night.
As earlier reported, Peszar will be honored by the State at an awards luncheon in May in Atlantic City.
“We are very proud of Ron for this honor,” says Lakewood Inspection Department Director Mike Saccomanno. “Since he started here two and a half years ago, he has been nothing short of excellence. He has been an asset to our department and the township. Not only is his knowledge of fire protection unmatched, he is genuinely a great guy.”
