TEHILLIM: Lakewood Toddler in Serious Condition after Falling from Second Story Window

hatz 4-30-15A Lakewood toddler is in serious condition this afternoon after falling from a second story window, officials confirm to TLS.

The two-year-old girl was reportedly leaning on her home’s second floor window screen when it gave way. The child reportedly fell approximately 20 feet to the ground level.

Hatzolah Paramedics rushed to the scene and found the child unresponsive but breathing, officials say.

The girl was transported to Jersey Shore Medical University Center with serious injuries.

“The child has very serious injuries,” an official told TLS.

Lakewood Detectives Bureau is investigating the incident.

UPDATE: Please be Mispallel for Esther bas Roiza, who is listed in serious condition. She is being rushed now into emergency surgery.

  1. To prevent bottom windows from opening, it’s a good idea to put a tension rod from the top of the bottom window to the top of the window. This way you can only open the windows from the top.

  2. buy little L brackets and screw on top of bottom window! Only the top window will be able to be opened! Refua sheleima to Esther bas Roiza.

  3. Bars on window is a great idea however make show your children know how to open them in case God for bid a fire . Sometimes I feel like it’s a no win situation We need to just we need to just Pray and ask God to always watch over our children .
