A woman is lucky to be alive this evening after her vehicle slammed into a tractor trailer, pinning her vehicle underneath.
Officials say the crash occurred around 9:30 PM at the intersection of Cedarbridge and Oberlin Avenues when the driver apparently skid on the wet road.
The driver was pinned inside the vehicle and underneath the rear of the tractor trailer, but was extricated several minutes later, officials say.
“It appeared she went into that truck full force,” an official said.
She was transported by Lakewood First Aid to Ocean Medical Center in Brick with minor injuries.
