Jackson Police Department Thanks Anonymous Man in Restaurant who Paid for Officers’ Meals

jackson pdFrom the Jackson Police Department: On behalf of Police Officers Craig Lindenberg and William Allman, the Jackson Police Department would like to extend our appreciation to the anonymous gentleman the officers encountered the other evening.

On Wednesday April 29th at approximately 9:00 pm, after having spent the proceeding several hours processing and dealing with a subject arrested for DWI, possession of prescription medication and outstanding warrants, the officers stopped at Bubbakoos Burritos in Toms River to grab dinner on their way back into Jackson after transporting the arrestee to the Ocean County Jail.

After speaking briefly to a gentleman with a small child who was in front of them on line who then left the restaurant, the officers got their food order and were informed that the man had already paid for their food. Officer Lindenberg went outside in an attempt to locate him to say thank you but he had already left.

This kind gesture meant a lot to the officers, especially in a time when some look down upon law enforcement, and the officers wanted to express their gratitude. Sir if you happen to be out there reading this, your actions meant a lot and were truly appreciated.

As always, thank you for your support.
