Petirah of Mr. Philip Kitay Z”L

candleWe regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mr. Philip (Shraga Feivel) Kitay Z”L, who was Niftar in Lakewood this morning. He was 91 years old.

Mr. Kitay is the father of Zvi Tovya Kitay (Lakewood), Brucha Soffer (Brooklyn), Shlomo Chaim Kitay (Lakewood), Yitzchok Kitay (Yerushalayim) and Moshe Yosef Kitay (Lakewood).

The Levaya will take place at 1:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, at the 7th Street Chapel. Kevura will be in Eretz Yisroel.

    as he was known amongst his many yedidim and chaverim, was a mispallel at chevra lomdei torah (yuks) for many years and was a regular at harav shlomo chaim kenareks popular daf yomi shiur .
    his geshmak and zest for learning ,davening ,blowing shofar during ellul as well as chazunus will be sorely missed. never spoke bad about others, a real gentelman “yehi zichro boruch”
