  1. How s ad to se very few people out at the parade. Probably in a few years there will be no parade. what is wrong with this picture????? Don’t you see what is happening???????

  2. there is pritzus in many of these photos. maybe that’s why people weren’t there. Can these photos should be censored more thoroughly?

  3. for the first time in years memorial day fell on a jewish holiday. for many the parade is too far to walk. we definitely would have loved to be there and my kids really wanted to go but an hour walk in the heat was to much.

  4. @judie- I’ve been to the parade in years past, and it has always been well attended. Why don’t you do some research before you post your comments publicly?

  5. To tb if you are so affended by arms I feel sorry for you. It was very hot and you go march in the heat and cover yourself from head to toe! I give credit to all that go and March in respect .

  6. Judie what don’t you understand we couldn’t drive so we weren’t there . All the other year were attended so you obviously didn’t do your research.

  7. Judie don’t be stupid. I’m not saying there’s usually a high turnout there isn’t. But if you think the Jewish holiday had nothing to do with it your being stupid.

  8. Can’t we ALL just post a “thank you” to all the brave men/women who fought and lost their lives so we ALL have the freedoms we have. That’s what Memorial Day is about: just say THANK YOU. And I truly thank you!

  9. I’m honestly surprised Lakewood still has a parade but very happy to hear so. I used to march in it every year and played with the band at the ceremony by the lake at the end of the parade. Very good memories paying tribute to the brave men and women who lost their lives fighting for this country.
