atvVIDEO: Police are attempting to crack down on ATV riders driving around several different areas in Lakewood, including in parks, and other off-limits zones.

Residents tell TLS some of these riders are seen driving recklessly down their quiet roads at excessive speeds too.

According to New Jersey State Law, ATVs are not to be driven on public roads or highways.

  1. Everyday in the Hearthstone Development there are dirt bikes and a gas powered bike racing up and down the streets, particularly on Morris Ave, With all the young children out and about now, something should be done to stop this issue.

  2. They should come to Beacon Hill. These thugs ride their dirt bikes and Atvs up and down the street 50 miles per hour even when there are kids around. Theres even a police officer who lives on the block but doesn’t seem to care. Maybe now with this crackdown someone will do something.
