Teens will sometimes look for the most trendy cell phone cases, but a cell phone holder in the form of a gun, “is not a cool product or a good idea,” says the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
The Prosecutor’s office today released these submitted photos of this iPhone product, but warn it can be dangerous.
“A police officer’s job is hard enough, without having to make a split second decision in the dark of night when someone decides without thinking to pull this out while stopped for a motor vehicle violation,” says Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Spokesman Al Della Fave.

How stupid can people get, of course this is NOT a good idea! The owner of one of these can be, among other things, be committing suicide by cop! Don’t make the LEO’s job any more difficult than it already is! SMH

I definitely agree! I don’t want the police officer to feel threatend and have to use his gun! We all know where this will be headed to. Anyone that uses that kind of phone case cannot blame a police officer for pulling out a gun on a innocent person! Let’s keep out officers safe. They risk out lives for us daily, why do we have to make them feel threatened for no reason, and then use it against them?

I agree totally stupid, they should make it yellow if they really want it but i guess that would defeat the purpose of looking real. Its probably illegal too because it causes public alarm. I happen to be very pro gun but very anti stupid

not to mention everyone walking past them on the street. no need to scare everyone.
only a problem if they pull it out on a cop. It’s completely legal to walk around with a real gun even. that’s not grounds for a cop to pull his gun, though you should probably warn the cop if you’re armed.
JOAT… Not in this state. You walk around NJ with your real gun and see what happens. That holder is going to get someone killed quickly.
