Lake Carasaljo area residents, as well as the Department of Public Works, are furious after vandals have repeatedly destroyed and removed the gates at the walking bridge, TLS has learned.
The DPW has repaired the bridge gates multiple times, area residents say, but they keep on being torn down by vandals.
“It’s an accident waiting to happen,” one neighbor tells TLS.
Askonim, who shared the same sentiment, are asking anyone who witnesses the destroying of the gates to phone police.
“It’s a pure Sakanah.”

should have hidden cameras at the site so these vandals can be identified and caught. Why would anyone want to do such a thing?
