Donald Trump’s inflammatory remarks during his campaign kickoff event sure made him some enemies, and even prompted some to cut off business ties with him, but according to an ABC report his poll numbers haven’t seen a decline.
ABC reports that some Republican candidates – such as Jeb Bush, whose wife is Mexican – took offense of his comments about illegal Mexicans, and have distanced themselves from him. Some, says the report, have even condemned him for the remarks.
Meanwhile, some are saying that Francisco Sanchez, a seven-time convicted felon who has been accused of fatally shooting a woman on a San Francisco pier over the weekend, proves Trump’s point.
What is your opinion about his remarks, which called Mexicans murderers, among other names. Did he go overboard in trying to highlight his position and importance of building a fence at the border?

Trump is saying what we are all thinking, but are afraid to say because of the biased liberal Press. I agree he said it in a bad way. This used to be a Country of free speech and differing opinions. That is how we became the greatest Country in the world. But now with the PC police running the Press everyone is afraid to speak. This country is heading in the wrong direction, look at other countries where the press was controlled.
Why is Jeb Bush known as the Latino in the race if we have two real Latinos Ted Cruz & Marco Rubio?
There is good and bad people everywhere. It doesn’t matter if you are hispanic, white, black you will always find all kinds of people. To me Donald Trump was ignorant to attack a particular group of people. If you take a look at history it has happen before a powerful man targeting people mmm and trying to become president… This is not good. I hope that american people don’t fall for this. It is 2015 we deserve a worl free of hate, prejudice and all this garbage. And for sure noone will win election without the latino vote so keep it up Trump, democrats are loving you.
Donald Trump said nothing wrong! If merchants want to drop his line, let us know who they are so we can boycott them. They are only condoning the import of illegals who don’t pay taxes & work for pay under-the-table! We don’t need to further dumb down our society. Its obvious that he’s up in the polls because he is saying what people think.
Keep in mind that Trump never disparaged any American. He only disparaged Mexican citizens. He never disparaged a race; he disparaged citizens of a certain country (Mexico). What Trump said is no different than saying, say, “Those Palestinians are terrorists”.
The fact is that uncontrolled illegal immigration is overburdening the school districts, hospitals and social services in this country. The unlimited cheap labor is also flooding the labor market and keeping wages low. 30 years ago a tradesmen could make a living workign with his hands, now, you get $10 an hour.
The U.S. already accepts more legal immigrants to this country then any other nation, and controlled immigration is a good thing, but there is a limit how many immigrants that this country can accept at one time. Uncontrolled immigration is not good for the citizens of this country or for the immigrants who are already here, it is not sustainable.

Trump is not afraid to fight for what he thinks is right. Since he’s not politically correct, those Republicans who fear being politically incorrect run away. But the voters want someone to fight for them, not run away, and that explains the poll numbers.

Stop picking my pocket for money to take care of the ILLEGAL immigrants, they broke the law to come here and should be sent home period !!!!
