PHOTOS: A child was flown to the hospital Shabbos afternoon after ingesting tiki oil, officials said.
the one-year-old boy reportedly grabbed the petroleum-based oil from the counter and put it in his mouth. The father, just feet away grabbed away the item from him but not before some of the oil was ingested, officials said.
Hatzolah was summoned, and the boy, was transported by paramedics to a waiting helicopter. He was transported to CHOP Hospital in Philadelphia.
Lakewood’s Detectives Bureau responded to the scene for the investigation.
