pool tlsThe boy who nearly drowned last week in Lakewood and saved by lifeguards and Hatzolah, has been discharged from the hospital, TLS has learned.

The approximately 14-year-old teen was swimming when lifeguards noticed him under water longer than usual, and immediate jumped in and pulled him out. The teen had reportedly suffered a medical episode causing him to go under, sources told TLS.

Lifeguards performed CPR on the teen until Hatzolah and EMSĀ arrived and transported him to the hospital.

The teen fully recovered at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and returned home today.
