A girl in Lakewood was injured on Shabbos after her family’s Sukkah collapsed, TLS has learned.
During the Seudah today, a neighbor heard screaming coming from next door, saying “call Hatzolah”, and immediately phoned Hatzolah.
Upon arrival, the members found a family of eight sitting beneath the rubble of collapsed bamboo and broken 2 x 4 pieces of wood.
One girl, approximately 15 years old, was transported to Jersey Shore Medical University Center with non life-threatening injuries. The other members of the family were not injured.
“It was a big Miracle,” an official told TLS.
It appears the collapse was caused by the strong winds and rain.
