Minyan Shelanu’s Mud Run Taking Place Next Week; New Video Released

m2VIDEO: Will you take the xtreme challenge?! Minyan Shelanu’s 2nd annual xtreme runner mud run event is coming up. New this year, we are excited to have separate events for men and women!

Sunday October 18  we will challenge your strength, speed and precision on our new course at raceway park, in Englishtown, NJ.

All proceeds of the event go to benefit minyan Shelanu. Minyan Shelanu is an organization in Lakewood that is there for our youth and teens even into adulthood, both girls and boys alike. They are a constant support for the everyday challenges and obstacles its members face. The minyan, as it is called, has become a home to many and is an integral part of the Lakewood community. Being the primary organization that deals with the kids in the community they need your support to allow them to continue their great work.

Show your support and make an impact by joining the race and taking on the xtreme runner challenge or by  sponsoring a runner.

  1. I am astounded by the work of all the various organizations. May they be blessed with much hatzlocah! At the same time I am wondering out loud ….. have the yevanim infiltrated our camp? It seems to this writer that many organizations have turned healthy recommended exercise and turned it into an extreme form of avodah zorah R’L . Biking , Running , Walking etc. are wonderful outlets however the focus and competition has turned it into a sport that does not deserve to be acknowledged and certainly not lauded in our community.

  2. I agree with 2 & 3. #1 – u went a bit too far. Maybe more than a bit. The Minyan is a wonderful organization. If u can help them ,running or sponsoring, plz do so !!
