A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and injured near River Avenue this evening, officials confirm.
The man was struck at the intersection of High Street and River Avenue around 9:30 PM. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, police say.
Lakewood First Aid treated the victim and then transported him to MMCSC with multiple injuries.
The Traffic Safety division was summoned to the scene.
