For the third day in a row, and for at least the sixth time at the same Shul, a vehicle had its window shattered.
The vehicle was legally parked near the Vialapol Shul on County Line Road when a vandal apparently threw a rock through the rear window, shattering it.
Similar rocks – apparently taken from across the street – were reportedly found in some of the vehicles, one victim told TLS.

station lcsw there for a full 24 hrs and catch the guy already!
Get Cameras or have someone steak out the area to catch the perp
Pretty easy to catch the perp in this situation. Something fishy about the story.
These crimes have been happening for 6 months now, happened this past shabbos in front of rabbi witty’s shul in raintree and couple months ago by another shul in raintree… flat out anti semitism, the perps didn’t search or steal anything from the cars. maybe the lakewood police department can actually stop this crime, taxes are through the roof and more and More police are added to the police force… I hope everyone is sending in nthese reports to the police department… on a side note do we really need two police cars by every construction site?
2 of the Shul neighbors have cameras facing the street. Why don’t they review the footage???
Can they get fingerprints from the rock?
To Eli – I must respond to your comment because people keep bringing up the police at roadwork/ construction sites and no-one seems to be interested in remembering the answer that’s always explained…Police at construction sites are OFF DUTY. They are paid privately for being on safety duty when not on their shift.
The police cheif needs to have a meeting with the Rabbi and members. That is his responsibility.
It happened THREE times at the “other” Shul in Raintree. That makes a total of ten episodes. The motivation is pure anti-semitism; nothing was ever taken. If fact, the vandalism involved the rear window or windshield, no where near the door locks.
The police were called and they sprung into action by shrugging their shoulders!
@justforthought, silly rocks don’t have fingers, maybe sand prints. Sounds like a lame laffy taffy joke.
a samll reminder to yidden that we are in Galus.
If you treat your neighbors with respect, they will treat you with respect. Tried and true.
Lakewooder- only silly rocks don’t have fingers? Do serious rocks have fingers?
To #12 Rebetzen:
Use Seichel! The three Shuls targeted are over a half mile apart, so it is not a neighbor who may have been treated disrespectfully. No, this is anti-semitism pure and simple. These are criminal acts and should be recognized as such. When the miscreant is caught, and he will be caught, I intend to exert pressure on law enforcement that each incident be treated as a separate crime. The resultant verdict will not be a simple slap on the wrist.
