PHOTOS: Parnassah Network’s HVAC Course Kicks Off

A group of talented and handy men from the community joined Parnassah Network on Monday afternoon to begin a customized training program. The training teaches the nuts and bolts of being an HVAC tech, with particular focus on the heating elements. An additional course is scheduled for the Spring to teach Air Condition and Refrigeration elements.

The vocational classes take place in state of the art OCVTS facilities by professional trainers and technicians. The students are taught in small settings and receive hands-on training and individual attention.

hvacThis course is one of many education programs spearheaded by Parnassah Network Seminars to offer training to the community for Parnassah.

  1. Until there is a real and sincere commitment from the many in this town that are in a position to help the less fortunate among us we are never going to be able to deal with the parnassa issue properly no matter what programs are available and how much networking is put together. And by that I mean there are many in this town that need services and need merchandise and are looking for that product, yet in many cases there isn’t that will or that ‘nesias ol’ (sense of responsibility) to try to give the small guy the contract or the startup business the job. In most cases its what’s in it for me. Sadly I know this first hand and it’s true. There needs to be a bigger sense of nosei b’ol im chaveiro in Lakewood and only then can we really help the many in this town that so desperately need parnassa.
