PHOTO: Authorities this morning are continuing their investigation into what appears to be a horrific murder of a Raintree resident.
According to the preliminary investigation, it appears the homeowner died of blunt force trauma, but the cause will be determined by an autopsy, police told TLS.
It’s unknown when the incident occurred, as family members only made the discovery when they came to check on the man after not hearing from him for several days, police said.
“Were really shocked and saddened that such a senseless act took place in our town, and especially in our serene neighborhood,” a Frum Raintree resident told TLS. “We’re keeping the families in our prayers, and we’re confident that authorities will track down the perpetrator of this heinous crime.”
Police have not yet released the name or age of the victim, but said it appeared to have been a middle-aged to elderly man.
The Prosecutor’s Major Crimes units are investigating the incident.

I hope now the LPD will take it serious and track down the perpatrators and make an end to the burglaries crime which is going on a long time in our town. Sad it had to cost a persons life.
