VIDEO: Officials Cut Ribbon to New 24-hour QuickChek Shop & Fuel in Lakewood

quick checkVIDEO: As reported yesterday on our news alerts, local officials on Monday celebrated the opening of a new QuickChek in Lakewood.

The 24-hour store and gas station is located at the intersection of Cedarbridge and New Hampshire Avenues.

“Additional amenities include no-fee ATMs which provide additional added value to consumers; indoor seating for 13 people and outdoor seating for eight; eight gasoline pumps offering high-quality fuel at value prices; and 55 parking spaces,” QuickChek announced.

Officials attending the ribbon cutting were Lakewood Township Director of Economic and Industrial Development Steven Reinman, Lakewood Township Municipal Manager Thomas Henshaw, Lakewood Township Committeeman Raymond Coles, Lakewood Township Committeeman Michael D’Elia, Lakewood Township Police Chief Robert Lawson, and Lakewood Township Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein. Also in attendance, was QuickChek Store Leader Drew Allen, and QuickChek CEO Dean Durling.

The front row are members of the Lakewood Galaxy U8 soccer club, who are the beneficiary of the store’s grand opening fundraiser.

The store will be offering free coffee for the next two weeks.

  1. someone please tell me why there is NO fresh kosher food there? no bagels, donuts, sushi??? cmon with all the bussiness in industrial park i expected MUCH more. what a let down.

  2. There is a large kosher grocery being built a very short distance away…I’m sure that included an anti compete so that they have a chance to service the kosher crowd.
