The explosive video of R’ Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz is going viral, but R’ Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz has madeĀ another breaking move.
R’ Shlomo Yehuda announced today he will be donating $1,500,000 to the Mosdos of Reb Shloime Chaim Kanarek, who was honored this week in Lakewood for his 30 years of Chinuch.
Rechnitz, from Los Angeles, has also donated millions of dollars to the Lakewood Cheder and other Mosdos around the world.

Why?
i hope there are conditions tied to that money and we all know what they should be
Maybe he should give $20,000,000 to each school so that there is no excuse that there is no room. After that , those who are still not excepted into a school will need to do some self introspection, as to why they were not wanted.
rabbi kanarek is an indiveidual who is always trying his best to find every child a place. the $ is very well deserved…
If he has to take everyone? I’m wondering if in five years anyone will try to get in! Right? Or wrong?
Let all the cheerleaders answer the question. !
Wow! Ashrecha! May he be gebentcht and may HK”BH continue to shower him with good.
To Neighbor: Do you mean ACCEPTED or EXcepted.
Accepted means you are in; excepted means you are not.
And to the question of why – because rabbi kanarek deserves it. He works tirelessly for the klal and some of his schools need new buildings. I am sure he will use every penny to make his mosdos better, bigger and therefore be able to accept more yiddishe Kinderlach. Hashem should bench him with koach to continue his Avodas hakodesh.
As the event itself easily cost upward of $250,00, I’m wondering if it was worth it all???
The ones who should be doing introspection are the people writing the negative comments. He obviously touched a raw nerve and your feeling guilty. guilt is a very uncomfortable feeling and the automatic reaction is to deflect it .
Ver es hot di meah hot di deah!
Pretty expensive speach!
Now divide that by the many Schools that Reb Kanarek has opened.
Some people build business. Rabbi Kanarek opens schools. If not for him, the situation in Lakewood would be much worse.,
Not kdai
$1500,000 -$250,000= $1,250,000
Not kdai?? I guess you’re not running a mosad. Because if you would, you would be ready to go thru 10 times the bisyonos for that money
can we get powerball tickets also?
The facts are that you will not find more than a handful of kids who really could not get into ANY school . 99 per cent of the kollel guys you refer to ,want to get their kids into the older established schools and wont accept the newer schools . Well guess what . We are adding close to 2000 kids a year and if you are not a sibling ,chances are you are going to go to a newer school .In 3 years that newer school will be full and you wont even be able to get in there
Oimer V’oiseh. Great speech; sublime donation. To Yaakov – 2 excellent points and ur 100% right in ur 2d post. Hatzlocha.
Will my tuition go down?
Impressive speach
I just watched part of it because I wanted to hear how he speaks. Wow he was amazing and brought out such fine points. I believe this is one of the many ways he is trying to help us, Klal Yisroel. I do not think it was easy for him to give the speech. He did it out of necessity
Following Rechnitz’s speech in Lakewood, a new school has opened up accepting anyone who applies. It’s being call “Rechnitz’s Rejects”
