UPDATED: Vehicle Left Running Stolen from Coventry Square

hyndaiA vehicle left running and unattended was stolen last night from Coventry Square, police tell TLS.

The vehicle was reportedly left running outside a home as the owner ran inside, and then came back moments later to find it missing.

Police say the vehicle is a 2004 blue Hyundai Sonata (similar to the one pictured), with NJ plates of V44-DLK. The vehicle also had ‘Camp Agudah’ stickers on the bumper.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 732-363-0200.

UPDATE – Motzei Shabbos 6:15 PM: Police tell TLS the vehicle was located this morning on Pinehurst Drive in Woodlake Manor.

  1. I see it all the time. Brand new Hondas, Toyotas, etc.
    What’s up with that? Why would anybody just leave their car running when they run into a store/house or something?
    I just don’t get it.

  2. My initial reaction was also why’d the owner leave it running. BUT if we lived in a civilized world we should not have to worry to leave out car warming up in the driveway like we always used to in previous years.
