PHOTO: Lakewood Visitor Asking Hit & Run Suspect, Witnesses to Come Forward

hit runA resident visiting from Philadelphia for Shabbos says his parked vehicle was struck by a driver who fled the scene, leaving him with serious damage to his vehicle.

The victim says he was shopping at the Gourmet Glatt (former ShopRite) plaza at about 2:30 PM on Friday, and when he came outside he found his vehicle with serious damage, with nobody around and no note.

Police were called and area cameras are being checked.

  1. Looks like he slid on the ice and hit something. Those deep gouges were not made by a plastic car bumper but look like a steel guardrail or concrete abutment.

  2. Lol .aaa-all cars are made entirely of plastic now huh? couldn’t have been a fender or a quarter panel or even the steel bumper behind the plastic?or even a truck or a work van?.some people just have to put in their 2 cents I guess.
