pd training new recruitsThe newest Lakewood Police Department recruits today received their in-house training to learn about the various emergency and other organizations in town.

During the training, under the auspices of Sergeant Rob Shimonovich, the officers get to hear from organization leaders, giving them an insight to the different cultures within Lakewood, and a better understanding of how they operate.

Pictured, is Rabbi Avrohom Moshe (Abe) Muller, a veteran Lakewood Hatzolah Paramedic and Police Chaplain speaking to the officers about Hatzolah, Shabbos and other important fibers of the Jewish community.

As part of his presentation, Rabbi Muller brought various religious objects and showed them a filmĀ to help familiarize the officers about the religion, which makes up the largest percentage of the Township.
