Similar to the event held in Lakewood several months ago, Kiryas Yoel on Monday evening held a packed event to address compliance with government programs.
Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein, one of the organizers of the Lakewood event, was called to address the crowd of approximately 1,500 in Monroe.
Also addressing the event organized by Abe Glanz and chaired by Yitzchock Schwartz, was Orange County Legislator Michael Amo, Village of Kiryas Joel Government Relations Coordinator Ari Felberman, Criminal Defense Attorney Jack Laufer, and KJ Community Leader Elozer Gruber.
A question and answer panel was also held at the event, and moderated by Aron Schreiber and Joel Mertz of the Village of KJ Social Services Department.
