His sister lived on my block for many years. He used to come for Simchas, occasionally. He was a giant of a man but carried himself with such a Pashtus, no “zich” at all. But ppl would speak to him about the most complex halachah and hashgocha shailos. Klal Yisroel lost a true gadol.
