Multiple vehicles in Lakewood were burglarized overnight in Lakewood.
Residents in the Vintage Circle and Ridge Avenue are tell TLS at least five vehicles were burglarized and rummaged through. The burglar(s) made off with case, GPS devices and more, leaving the vehicles trashed.
Police are being notified.

Does that mean that TLS was notified even before police?
Unfortunately there is not much that the police department can do, therefore it is not an emergency, and the homeowners went to work and reported to the police when they returned home. (Non emergencies can take time for the PD to come down to file the reports)
however it is very important to file the police report nevertheless so the please department can be aware and have record of all burglaries.
However many of these Burglaries are from vehicles that are left open.
Make sure to lock vehicles at all times.
And yes TLS was notifies before LPD!
