With much gratitude to Hashem Yisbarach we would like to inform you that we reached our goal, and we won’t be getting kicked out of our Dirah!
We couldn’t have done this without all of your generous donations. Even though most of you don’t know who we are, you still understood our situation and helped us out.

Good for them
Good to hear.
Just curious: What period of time does this $1,300 for three beds cover? A month? A zman?
I am happy to hear they got the money they need for a dirah, but I do question – what are serious bachurim learning in Israel doing on the internet?
will you refund the extra $23 over what you needed?
We thank you guys you are learning and this is real tzedaka yes people can bash till there own son is stuck and there calling there rich uncle to help out but this is real schar limud wich the gemora says is one of the 3 things that hashem pays you back
The article says 3 months
Mr Siyug Lechuchma Shteika
They raised $1323 they needed $1300 but go fund me takes 8 percent so they really only have $1,217.16 so they are short $82.84
To Mr. Math Guy,
Thank you for your comment. I wonder if that guy will continue to comment.
Sadly, You guys missed the boat. These boys found a sensational way to ask people for money. You gave them money because they had an original idea of what to ask for and how to ask for it.
There’s nothing wrong with helping out someone who’s needy. In fact, it is a tremendous mitzva to do so. NOWHERE, do the boys mention they are needy. When people cpme to your door in Lakewood, they have a letter from the Tomchei Tzedaka.
The boys write that instead of approaching their parents for $185.71 each ( 7 boys that are left in unfortunate fee, as 8th boy came after the burden was placed on the dira members) they turned to the public.
All 7 boys parents couldn’t afford the $185.71?? Not very likely!
Instead of these tzadikim asking their parents for money they chose to ask the public to pay for it plus tack on a 8% fee to GoFundMe.
While writing this message it reminds me that there are really needy people in our community and went to Tomchei.org and donated $100 to Tomchei Shabbos of Lakewood, which is an amazing organization helping needy family within our community under guidance of rabbonim.
The transaction completed successfully!
Thank you for your contribution with Tomchei Shabbos of Lakewood.
