TRAGEDY: Sudden Petirah of Lakewood Infant Chaim Diskind A”H [UPDATED]

candleA Lakewood infant was suddenly Niftar today, officials and Askonim tell TLS.

Three-month-old Chaim Diskind A”H was reportedly sleeping at the babysitter when he failed to wake up.

Hatzolah paramedics rushed to the scene and found the baby unresponsive R”L. He was transported to MMCSC where he was Niftar.

The baby is a grandchild of Reb Dovid Diskind (Lakewood), and Reb Baruch Ber Grozovsky.

Officials tell TLS the incident appears to be SIDS, and Askonim are working with officials to ensure proper Kavod Hameis, and to expedite the autopsy process.

UPDATE: The Levaya will be taking place at the 7th Street Bais Olam.
