Authorities are investigating an apparent fatal drug overdose in Lakewood this morning, police say.

Emergency personnel from EMS responded to the Coventry Square home shortly after 7 AM and found an unresponsive male inside the home.

CPR was performed, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, police say. He was 21.

Police say they believe he overdosed on drugs.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau and CSI are investigating.
