A child was struck by a vehicle this evening, landing him in the hospital.
The accident occurred on County Line Road near Twin Oaks Drive around 10 PM.
The child, said to be approximately three years old, was treated by Hatzolah and then transported to MMCSC with non life-threatening injuries .

What’s with county line road???
In the last week alone there have been 3 bad accidents on county line road, one being fatal. What’s gonna be done? Maybe lower the speed limit? Put in more lights?

At night is is particularly dark! Can we gather as a neighborhood and petition for that?

Infrastructure and support services across Lakewood are insufficient due to the town’s rapid and uncontrolled growth. Accidents and crime will continue to increase until the town enforces a moratorium on new development. Enough is enough.

This incident didn’t take place on county line but in twin oaks drive. Reflectors, lighting, dark clothes etc had nothing to do with it.
