[COMMUNICATED] By C.Z. Baruch Hashem in recent years there’s been a very big interest in people making Shidduchim.
“People have great intentions, but along with all the great intentions, Klal Yisroel needs more and more Shadchanim,” says Tzadok Katz. “Not everyone is automatically equipped with some of the essential skills or knowledge on how to go about making a Shidduch in the most constructive way.”
Continues Katz, “here are a lot of “dos and dont’s that are not so obvious, but are very crucial.”
The course came about after Tzadok received a stress call a couple of months ago regarding a Shidduch that was falling apart due to the inexperienced Shadchan. “I realized that a Shadchan course was necessary to help people really understand the fundamentals of a Shadchan.”
The course will be taking place this Sunday evening in Lakewood, and there are limited spots available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

I once walked away from a shidduch after the Shadchan kept putting pressure on me. Some people think they know what they are doing and are actually ruining the shidduch. There isn’t a one size fits all. One has to use his sechel.
very good idea we need more shadchanim very smart idea
I hope he teaches the shadchens to return calls
Tzodak is a tzadik a real real one
I had an in-depth conversation with Tzodok Katz about the shidduchim situation a few months ago. I found him to possess a sophisticated conceptual understanding of the entire situation from the macro forces to the individual families and people seeking shidduchim. His motivation is L’Shem Shamayim and his insights are accurate and valuable. I was delightfully surprised. I felt like I had stumbled upon a national treasure.
