Children playing outside Sunday afternoon found this loaded gun, as reported on our news alerts.
Police say the children were playing in the area of the Elmwood Village development when they spotted the gun. According to neighbors, at least one kid picked up the gun – not knowing it was real, and loaded. Luckily the children didn’t fire it.
The kids notified an adult, who immediately phoned police. The gun is a 357 magnum revolver.
Police say another gun – also a revolver – was found on Shabbos in the area of North Lake Drive, though that gun wasn’t loaded.
